The Zoo and New Stuff

First off, we finally found somewhere to live!!! I'm so excited. It's in South Ogden and it's just gonna be great. We'll finally have a place to call our own again, I'll be able to cook in an oven, and best of all Maddie will finally get her own room!!! :)


Next, Shad had a really good father's day. In the afternoon, I went into the front room and found this... It's so precious


I also took monday off and we went to the zoo. Maddie looked super cute as always, but she couldn't have cared less. She cared more about the sunglasses Shad gave to her than any of the animals or people or anything. She didn't even smile the whole time. Silly girl.

She loved those sunglasses....

And got so mad when we tried to take them away to try and get her to look at stuff

Like I said before, she was really happy and wouldn't stop smiling.... haha

Didn't care that there was a tiger right behind her, just about the glasses

I did the best monkey face...

She just couldn't get that smile off of her face.... haha

Maddie has also been trying to stand the past little while. For a while she wouldn't even put her feet on the ground, so this is pretty exciting. It's all thanks to my grandma who gave us the walker toy in the video. She loves it and doesn't even notice anyone or anything around her when she plays with it. She'll do anything to play with it, even stand.

9 months :)

On friday we took Maddie for her 9 month check up and she is doing awesome.

Her measurements are:

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz- 10th percentile
Height: 26.18 in- 8th percentile- I think she's a little taller, she kept squirming the whole time and her last appointment she was in the 54th percentile
Head:16.8 in- 11th percentile

She is such a sweet, sweet little princess!

The Drive In

We took Maddie to the drive in last night and she loved it! She just kept laughing and laughing. She fell asleep before the movie even started and slept the whole time even through when we put her back in her car seat. You can't see anything cause it was so dark, but I uploaded a little clip of her laughing. I love it. I keep listening to it over and over.

She also is getting her top teeth. She's been pretty onry this time, but we still love her anyways :)

8 months

My SWEET SWEET baby is now 8 months! She is doing great and getting cuter and sweeter everyday... She can now finally roll over and she can hold her own bottle like a big girl! It was also Shad's birthday the other day. We made cupcakes and just relaxed and had a great day... That's about it so here's some pictures to enjoy!

Maddie's 6 month appointment

Last friday Maddie had her 6 month appointment. Everything looked great, but she did have to get a chest x-ray since her cough hasn't totally gone away and they've seen alot of RSV lately. But her x-ray looks normal and the doctor said it's probably from drool or she's just faking it...

Her measurements-

Weight- 14.79 lbs- 22nd percentile
Height-25.98 in.- 54th percentile
Head- 16.5 in.

She's getting so big! She can't roll over yet, but she sits like a pro!

Christmas to Now

It's been a long time since I last put anything on here and alot has happened, and so there are 2 posts this time...

Here we have Christmas Eve at my grandparents. Maddie was awesome at opening her presents and it's a good thing cause she's gonna be spoiled :)

Christmas day was so much fun. Maddie was so happy. She didn't really care about the presents (except for her Mickey Mouse movie), but she loved all of the attention she got :)

At her last appointment her doctor said she was ready to start having rice cereal, so for Christmas we tried it out for the first time. She didn't quite know what to think but now she loves it. We also have given her squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, and carrots since then. She loves the sweet potatoes and carrots, but she gagged when we gave her green beans and even threw up once! So we'll have to try those again later...

Lately she has had a cough that has just drug on forever. We took her to the doctor last week and when they tried to take her blood for a test they couldn't find her vein and just poked her forever :( it was so sad, it made me cry. The nurse was telling her that her momma was having a harder time with it than she was haha. The tests they took came back negative so we just have to keep an eye on her. Other than that she's super healthy and a little over 13 lbs :)
