Walking!!!

This is a combo of two posts... I tried one about a month ago but never published it, so now it's in this one too...

So... Maddie is now walking! She is getting better and better everyday and she thinks she is so awesome. She also is now saying some words. Her favorite one is this. She points at every thing she wants and says this, this! She's just the most awesome baby ever! I can't believe how fast she's growing and how smart she is.

Also, a couple weeks ago I got in a car accident. A girl was on her phone and ran a red light and hit me. I'm so glad Maddie wasn't with me. It totalled my car, even though it didn't look like it. This time I got a Honda CR-V. It's a pretty good car, it's the kind I wanted when I got the Escape. But maybe I should start looking now for the car I'll have to get next year haha.

Halloween was pretty fun. Maddie was a kitty, Shad was nothing (boring!), and for work we did a 20's theme.

Maddie is getting so big and so smart. She's learning animal sounds and body parts. It's amazing watching how much she can do and what she is learning. She has started climbing up the stairs and she thinks she's so cool that she can. The way she comes back down isn't the best, but it works and she loves it.She also just got over her first ear infection. It was so sad. She was up half the night for a few days just screaming and we couldn't make her feel better. It was kind of like the days when she had colic all night, when she would only stop screaming when we'd go for a drive. So for a few nights I had to either take her for a drive or put her in her car seat and walk around the house til she'd calm down and fall asleep. But she's doing much better now and is back to her sweet, crazy self.

Our new place

So we finally moved to our own place last month, and we love it! It's awesome to have so much room and love that Maddie finally has her own room now... Here are some pictures, mostly for you grandma since I didn't even show you the whole place when you guys were over, sorry! I will for sure next time though. It looks kind of bare though cause I haven't got to decorating yet (or I haven't decided what I want to do yet...)

The Zoo and New Stuff

First off, we finally found somewhere to live!!! I'm so excited. It's in South Ogden and it's just gonna be great. We'll finally have a place to call our own again, I'll be able to cook in an oven, and best of all Maddie will finally get her own room!!! :)


Next, Shad had a really good father's day. In the afternoon, I went into the front room and found this... It's so precious


I also took monday off and we went to the zoo. Maddie looked super cute as always, but she couldn't have cared less. She cared more about the sunglasses Shad gave to her than any of the animals or people or anything. She didn't even smile the whole time. Silly girl.

She loved those sunglasses....

And got so mad when we tried to take them away to try and get her to look at stuff

Like I said before, she was really happy and wouldn't stop smiling.... haha

She just couldn't get that smile off of her face.... haha

Maddie has also been trying to stand the past little while. For a while she wouldn't even put her feet on the ground, so this is pretty exciting. It's all thanks to my grandma who gave us the walker toy in the video. She loves it and doesn't even notice anyone or anything around her when she plays with it. She'll do anything to play with it, even stand.

9 months :)

On friday we took Maddie for her 9 month check up and she is doing awesome.

Her measurements are:

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz- 10th percentile
Height: 26.18 in- 8th percentile- I think she's a little taller, she kept squirming the whole time and her last appointment she was in the 54th percentile
Head:16.8 in- 11th percentile

She is such a sweet, sweet little princess!

The Drive In

We took Maddie to the drive in last night and she loved it! She just kept laughing and laughing. She fell asleep before the movie even started and slept the whole time even through when we put her back in her car seat. You can't see anything cause it was so dark, but I uploaded a little clip of her laughing. I love it. I keep listening to it over and over.

She also is getting her top teeth. She's been pretty onry this time, but we still love her anyways :)

8 months

My SWEET SWEET baby is now 8 months! She is doing great and getting cuter and sweeter everyday... She can now finally roll over and she can hold her own bottle like a big girl! It was also Shad's birthday the other day. We made cupcakes and just relaxed and had a great day... That's about it so here's some pictures to enjoy!

Maddie's 6 month appointment

Last friday Maddie had her 6 month appointment. Everything looked great, but she did have to get a chest x-ray since her cough hasn't totally gone away and they've seen alot of RSV lately. But her x-ray looks normal and the doctor said it's probably from drool or she's just faking it...

Her measurements-

Weight- 14.79 lbs- 22nd percentile
Height-25.98 in.- 54th percentile
Head- 16.5 in.

She's getting so big! She can't roll over yet, but she sits like a pro!
